Hippie Dabble Digest 54: Interesting historical photos, backyard chickens, environmental news, easy egg mug recipe, & more!

Welcome to the 54th edition of the Hippie Dabble Digest! I took a couple weeks off, but I’m back at it now. I sometimes (often times) bite off more than I can chew and have to let something slide. Anyway, this week we have the sections from the last digest (Just for Fun, On Youtube, and In the News) plus one more, Weekly Recipe, which will include a link to a recipe that is either healthy or features a garden ingredient that we’ve talked about or both. Don’t forget, all links get put into the Directory so you can come back to find them when you need them.

Just for Fun

This week’s just for fun link is “Photos That Will Change The Way You View The World” on LensVid. These historical photos are incredibly interesting and fun to look at and include things like the interior of a 1936 airplane (nothing like today’s airplanes), the Statue of Liberty’s face when it was first delivered, men repainting the Eiffel Tower in 1932 (they had to actually climb it!), and lots more. On Youtube

With the price of eggs at an all time high, you may be thinking about raising some backyard chickens. Here’s a video with some information and a tour of the setup to help you decide and get set up.
