Just for Fun

This week’s just for fun link is The Kid Should See This: Smart videos for curious minds of all ages. The website description reads “TKSST is a Webby award-winning collection of over 5,000 kid-friendly videos, curated for teachers and parents who want to share smarter, more meaningful media in the classroom and at home. Selections are grown-up-friendly, too. And thanks to TKSST members, it’s free and ad-free for everyone.” Don’t let the name or description fool you though. These videos are fascinating for kids and adults alike. Take a look here: https://thekidshouldseethis.com/.

One example from the website is especially interesting to me because my family and I were able to travel to Japan several years ago. Since then I’ve been hooked. Japan is known for their decorative manhole covers, and this video shows how they are made. https://thekidshouldseethis.com/post/japanese-manhole-covers-factory-video
